A Falmouth pub's quizzes raised more than £4,000 for charity last year.
Local and national charities benefitted from funds raised by The Working Boat's quizzes that totalled £4,328.
Ryan Blake, pub manager, said: “We’re extremely passionate about supporting charities wherever possible, and the whole team gets on board to ensure the quiz nights are a great success and a lot of fun!”
Different charities and charitable causes were chosen for the weekly quizzes which will continue to donate throughout 2020.
Takings from The Working Boat's quizzes were donated to local and national charities including Surfers Against Sewage, British Heart Foundation, Falmouth and Penryn Foodbank, Falmouth Community Youth Football, Parkinson's UK, Fisherman's Mission, ShelterBox, Hospitality Action, The Lily Foundation, Movember, Crisis and MQ Mental Health.
The Working Boat's pub quizzes are held every Sunday from 7.30pm and are free to attend with an optional suggested donation of £1.
