A Mylor woman organised a charity dog show to raise money for a pony rehabilitation charity.

Chloe Rollaston's Scorrier show on Sunday brought the grand total she has raised for charity through various events in 2019 to £1,000, according to husband Mike.

Choe's Dogs Day Out was a 40-class 'mega show' held at Cornwall Riding Centre in Scorrier which more than 70 dogs and their owners attended.

Funds raised were donated to Bodmin Moorland Pony Rehabilitation, a charity that helps abandoned hill ponies in Bodmin, Dartmoor and Exmoor.

Mike said: "This one show has brought almost half of the entire 2019 total, which is a testament to her hard work and the generosity from people who have come from east Devon and all over Cornwall to attend."

He added: "The large sand school venue was amazing and the food truck kept the attendees warm with teas and burgers."

Last year, Chloe organised four shows for local charities including two cat rescues and grassroots football club Frogpool and Cusgarne FC.

The popularity of her shows has attracted the attention of more local charities, and she currently has a waiting list as the shows take a lot of time to organise and she expects that she will only be able to put on four next year.

Mike said: "For anyone who wishes to attend one of Chloe's shows with their dog of any type or breed, pedigree or not, it's a great day out for a good cause and great for socialization of your dogs as well as some good people to chat with over a coffee."
