A FALMOUTH man who repeatedly breached a restraining order has appeared before Truro magistrates.
Cameron Stuart McTaggart, aged 35, of St Nazaire Terrace, Goldenbank, admitted four offences in Falmouth, which breached a restraining order made earlier this year.
* On June 29 he approached and spoke to the female victim
* Between May 15 and June 3 he sent the victim WhatsApp messages
* On July 4 he attempted to engage in conversation with the victim
* On July 15 he approached and spoke to the victim
All the offences were prohibited by a community order made by Bodmin magistrates on April 15, which he had received for possessing cannabis and using threatening, abusive, insulting words or behaviour.
On Wednesday, Truro magistrates imposed another community order which will see McTaggart electronically monitored for two weeks, during which he must be at his home address between 7pm and 7am.
He must also comply with a rehabilitation activity requirement and a restraining order was imposed until November 19, 2020.
He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and £90 victim surcharge.
