The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain in Falmouth, starting at midday today.
The warning continues until 6pm on Saturday, with the heaviest rain likely to affect the area this evening until the early hours of tomorrow.
A yellow weather warning means that flooding is likely - here is what the Met Office states we can expect:
* Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely
* Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
* Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
* Some interruption to power supplies and other services likely
After a brief drier spell on Saturday evening and Sunday morning, another heavy band of rain is then forecast to arrive on Sunday afternoon.
