A two-storey townhouse is to be built next to one of Falmouth's car parks.
It will fill the gap between the retaining wall of the New Street car park and Bakers Loft, a former derelict building that was converted into housing in 2003.
The house will be built against the retaining wall of the New Street car park
Cornwall Council has given J Perkins conditional approval to carry out the work.
It is described in the application as a "modest townhouse", inverted so that the living accommodation is on the first floor and the bedrooms and bathroom downstairs.
No additional parking has been included with the application.
