Pieces by Falmouth artists are being given away as raffle prizes in aid of domestic violence and mental health charities.

The work is being displayed at Beerwolf Books as part of Project 13, which is raising funds for the charities Women's Aid and Carrick Mind.

It was launched last Wednesday and the work will remain on the walls of the pub until Saturday November 9, when raffle winners will be drawn live on Source FM between 2pm and 3pm.

Work by local artists Lizzy Broughton, Edmond Griffith-Jones, Lily Durell, Jeremy Beswick, Padsy Padders, John Harvey, Sophie Sweatman, Reuben Durell, Jason Viney, Cally Gibson, Antonella Crastus, Katy Lodge, Elle Laity, Tom Minns and CF Sherraff is up for grabs.

Organiser Jennifer White put together the event in order to raise funds and awareness for the two charities that provide vital support to people in challenging times.

Raffle tickets are on sale at Beerwolf Books, The Oddfellow Arms and Hand until Saturday for £2 each or £10 a strip. Jennifer and Patrick Blewitt will be drawing the tickets on Source FM before announcing the winners over the airwaves.

All the proceeds from the raffle will be split equally between Carrick Mind and Women's Aid and Jennifer hopes to make it a regular event to support local charities and celebrate Falmouth artists.
