A glamping site could be extended near Coverack if the owners get planning permission.
Glenn Cooke has applied to Cornwall Council to site three 6m by 3.2m glamping pods on a field adjacent to his bungalow at Wych Elm, Ponsongath, which would each have an en-suite shower room, toilet and small kitchenette.
How the glamping pods would actually look
The site is already used for glamping and won a silver award for "glamping business and alternative accommodation of the year" at this year's Cornwall Tourism Awards. Read more here.
In his application Mr Cooke said: "The applicants undertook a trial during the 2016, 17, 18 and 19 seasons and have visitor book evidence and internet booking enquiries that confirm that there is significant unmet demand for these units as proposed."
Cornwall Council has yet to make a decision on the application.
