Two men were arrested yesterday on suspicion of firearms and drug offences after police stopped a vehicle in Arwenack Street yesterday.
A 23-year-old from Penzance and an 18-year-old from Falmouth remain in police custody today.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Police stopped a vehicle on Arwenack Street, Falmouth, at 5.30pm on Sunday October 27.

"Officers attended to search the vehicle and seized a number of items.
"A 23-year-old man from Penzance was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled Class B drug.
"An 18-year-old from Falmouth was arrested on suspicion of obstructing police, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a controlled Class B drug.
"They both remain in police custody at this time."
