A cyclist fell off his bike after braking when he saw horses in the road.
He was taken to hospital with injuries that are not being treated as life-threatening or changing.
The accident took place between Kuggar and Ruan Minor on the Lizard Peninsula yesterday morning.
Police and ambulance services attended the scene and the road was blocked whilst the casualty was attended to.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Police called at 11.45am following reports that a cyclist had come off his bike, whilst braking to slow down upon seeing horses on the road.
"There is no reported collision. He has been taken to hospital with injuries, not being treated as life threatening or changing."
