Someone is going to get hurt or even killed unless something is done about skateboarders in the middle of the road.
This was the fear of Helston town councillor Nicola Boase at the last meeting of the council.
She said she had been driving up Godolphin Road in the town on Wednesday evening, only to be confronted by three people on skateboards coming in the opposite direction on the one-way road.
Mrs Boase said: "As I got to the police station there were three skateboarders and they did not want to get out the way.
"Perhaps the police should sort out those skateboarders before there's an accident, and it could be a fatal one.
"And they were going the wrong way down a one-way road."
