Support has been given to a phone box library being set up in a residential area of Helston.
The amenities committee of Helston Town Council gave backing in principle to an idea from a resident wanting to install a K8 telephone kiosk to use as a book exchange in Bosnoweth.
She said she and her husband would monitor the kiosk and book stock.
Town clerk Chris Dawson is to investigate buying a kiosk, with councillor Ronnie Williams offering to attend auctions and sales in search of one.
