This year's Falmouth Oyster Festival was a huge success with visitors coming from far and wide to sample the local produce.

The four-day festival marked the beginning of the oyster dredging season which lasts from October until March.

As well as the selection of native Fal oysters, food stalls offered a diverse range of produce from Cornish chillies to Turkish sweets.
