Police have appealed for information over an attempted robbery in Camborne in which a trio of men tried to steal an elderly woman’s dog.
The victim, aged in her 70s, was walking her small, black pet in the graveyard of St Martin and St Meriadoc's Church at around 3.30pm on Saturday.
She was accosted by three suspects who were sat on a bench and who demanded money from her.
When she said she did not have any, the victim was pushed over and the suspects tried to take her dog.
The woman sustained minor injuries and was left very shaken by the incident.
The suspects are all described as white males.
One was wearing a grey, hooded top, another a black, hooded top and the third a black jacket.
