A ROAD has been closed this evening following what is being described as a "serious accident" by Devon & Cornwall Police.
The incident happened just before 6pm in St Day.
Traffic is queueing in both directions after the B3298 was closed.
The crash happened at the junction with Vicarage Hill and is only believed to have involved one car, which ended up on its roof.
The road is closed in both directions, with heavy traffic in Telegraph Hill near St Day Rugby Club.
Emergency Services are on scene, with crew from Tolvaddon Fire Station and a Flexi Duty Officer assisting Police and Ambulance.
The closure is expected to remain in place for some time.
