The grand total of funds raised by this year's Martin Jennings Memorial Motorcycle Run has been totted up.

This year's run raised a whopping £6,361.87 for charity.

Roughly half (£3,263.8) of the funds will go towards Cornwall Air Ambulance, with the remaining £3,098.07 going to Cornwall Blood Bikes.

Organiser David Saunby said: "Well done and a big thank you to all the bikers that took part, and also to all the spectators that contributed en-route."

Roughly 1,200 people took part in this year's ride, starting at Truro's Tregurra Park and Ride Car Park and ending in Falmouth.

The event is going strong in its 32nd year and attracted rider from around Cornwall and further afield.

Next year's run, the 33rd Martin Jennings Memorial Motorcycle Run, will take place on the second Sunday in September 2020.
