This year's Carleen Village Show was extremely well supported by the local community.

There were more than 600 entries, which was well up on previous years, and it was especially pleasing to see an increase in the children class entries and in the floral art.

The weather on the day was superb, so that everyone was able to take advantage of having their tea, cakes and a good chat on the outside patio.

Thanks were extended to the large number of volunteers from the local community who had worked so hard in organising, setting up and running the show, from those setting up the staging, the tea ladies, the secretaries and to the many judges who gave so freely of their time and expertise.
