A new owner is taking over a popular pasty premises that was forced to close last month.
From the ashes of Tickleyertastebuds on Tregoniggie Industrial Estate will rise Lorena's Pasties.
Lorena Thomas is no stranger to the pasty game, having worked at Rowes before going freelance and starting to sell her own creations from home five years ago.

She is "very excited" about expanding the business and taking over the much-loved Falmouth location.
Lorena hopes to open up shop in the next few weeks. She plans to hire around four new staff members and set up a delivery service.
The new shop will sell cakes, pasties and other baked goods.
Wendy Byrne, owner of Tickleyertastebuds, announced that she would be closing down the business last Friday (September 6).
She was unable to keep it open following a spate of ill health.
There was an outpouring of support from customers after the announcement.
