Woman airlifted to hospital after being hit by a lorry
A NARROW street has been closed in Camborne after a woman was hit by a lorry this morning.
The incident happened in Moor Street just before 10am and the road has been shut down between Centenary Street and Union Street to allow police accident investigation work to take place.
A spokesman for the South West Ambulance Service said: "We were called at just before 9.50am to Moor Street after reports of a road traffic collision involving a lorry.
"Paramedics treated a female patient with a leg injury and she was taken to hospital by the air ambulance for further treatment."
Fire crews attended the scene this morning.
