Life saving beach equipment has been stolen after thieves broken into a storage garage under the cover of darkness.
The red RNLI quad bike at Porthtowan was taken at some point between 9pm on Friday and 9.30am yesterday morning.
Revealing the theft, Porthtowan Surf Life Saving Club said: "The garage door to the surf club was forced open and the RNLI red quad bike stolen.
"The quad was driven out of the car park."
They asked anyone with information about where the quad bike is or who saw anything suspicious to contact Crimestoppers on 101, quoting DCP-20190907-0277.
The club has urged people to share their appeal "far and wide please."
