Cornwall four-piece The Rezner, who formed at Truro College, are hosting a release party for their second single: For Myself.

It will be officially released on September 20 and supported by the launch party at Old Bakery Studios in Truro on September 28.

Guitarist and vocalist Sam Stone said: “For Myself’ was a song wrote for those of my generation. A song to sing whilst all the negative press gets put behind the curtain for a short while.

"The whole story contained within the lyrics is all about letting yourself go as a young adult and f***ing the rest of the world off, freedom in other words.

"A release of positive energy for leaving behind the problems that shouldn't even get to you in the first place.”

Bursting onto the scene over the last 12 months, Sam Stone (vocals and guitar), Redley Flowerdew (guitar and vocals), Liam Palmer (bass) and Ze Barradas (drums) are quickly gathering momentum.

They have had early radio support from Huw Stephens (BBC Radio One), Jim Gellatly (Amazing Radio) and Sarah Gosling (BBC Introducing Devon and Cornwall) and their new track is sure to impress.

As well as being invited by Creation Records' Alan McGee to play a show, The Rezner are quickly getting accustomed to performing on some of the biggest stages in the business including Isle of Wight, Boardmasters, Leopallooza, Looe Music, and The Great Estate to name a few.

On top of this they have also announced a tour of the country to support the new single.
