An aerial dance show and circus for children is coming to Falmouth as part of a nationwide tour.

Reach, put together by Little Lavrak (founded in Falmouth), is showing at the Academy of Music and Theatre Arts (AMATA) at the Tremough Campus in Penryn on October 26.

It is a tale of adventure unfolding in the kitchen of three siblings as they attempt to reach a jar of cookies on top of a gigantic Welsh dresser.

The children try jumping, climbing, swinging and just about everything else they can think of to help their quest for cookies.

There will be a free workshop for children afterwards. To book a place contact boxoffice@falmouth.ac.uk.

Reach is a story of friendship and teamwork and promotes problem solving, optimism and perseverance.

Director Amy Nicholls said: "This is an accessible children's show with counterweighted aerial, dance and a whole lot of adventure."

The performance is accessible to hearing impaired and deaf audiences and all of the workshops will have BSL interpreters.

Can't Sit Still Theatre called reach "a simple and (literally) uplifting tale of friendship with lovely choreography".

Theatre Bristol said: "There was a palpable buzz at the end of the show as the kids could no longer contain themselves in their seats."

The show will start at 3pm on Saturday October 26 and last around an hour.

Tickets are £6 and can be purchased here: tiny.cc/j8h7bz.
