Money raised by a Falmouth bar was presented to mental health charity Cornwall Mind.

The team presented a cheque to Jon Gladstone from Cornwall Mind.

Senior general manager Joe Hemming said: "We held a couple of bake sales in conjunction with the Mind Community Cafe mornings we host which were very popular.

"We made up a few promotional drinks to sell and the proceeds went to Cornwall Mind.

"We hosted a Harry Potter quiz upstairs and I let out some space for the Velvet Gypsies to use for their sewing group, they donated money for this.

"We ran a couple of bar games (balance the 20p on the lemon) and a crafts table for children asking for a donation to your charity.

"We are feeling very proud.”

Joe also cycled 100 miles from Plymouth to Ilfracombe and then back to Cornwall the next day.

Jo Boulton, project co-ordinator from Carrick Mind said: "A big thank you to all the lovely customers, staff and everyone that got involved and donated.

"All money raised for us stays in Cornwall to help fund our services so we can keep supporting our local communities."
