The air ambulance has landed in Penryn this afternoon.
It was spotted landing in Glasney College Field just before 3.20pm, leading to people who saw it wondering what had happened.
The field is a recognised landing site for the helicopter, due to it being a wide open space.
A spokesperson for Cornwall Air Ambulance told the Packet: "The air ambulance was attending an incident at a private address in Penryn."
The air ambulance, which is based in Newquay, is funded entirely through public donations and can attend any medical incident when requested.
