A teenager ended up in hospital after a bottle was smashed over his head in a late night assault.
Police have today launched an appeal for information about an assault on Vicarage Road, St Agnes, which took place earlier this month on Sunday, August 4.
It is said to have taken place between 12.15am and 12.30am.
A police spokesperson said: "It was reported that a man approached the victim from behind and caused injury to his head by punching and smashing a bottle over his head.
"The victim, an 18-year-old man, was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries."
