Diners at a hotel in Falmouth will be transported back in time to the roaring 1920s for an 'immersive dining experience' themed around The Great Gatsby.

Gatsby’s Gamble is a dinner party with a difference, as the Water’s Edge cocktail bar and restaurant at The Greenbank Hotel will be transformed into the elaborate mansion belonging to the book's main protagonist and wealthy socialite, Jay Gatsby.

Between 7pm and 11pm on November 7, ticket holders can expect a three-course meal inspired by the jazz age, lots of fizz and a ‘whodunnit’ mystery to unravel as the evening progresses.

The entertainment will be provided by murder mystery company Murder by Appointment.

It is the event of its kind to be hosted by The Greenbank, following a Titanic-themed evening last year.

Attendees are encouraged to embrace the theme and arrive dressed in smart-casual attire, with an emphasis on the 1920s glitz and glam.

General tickets for the evening are priced at £48 per person, from gatsby-gamble.eventbrite.co.uk.
