EXCEEDING a 70mph speed limit has resulted in a £576 fine for a 34 year-old man.

Oliver John Walters, of Treverva, near Penryn, admitted committing the offence in an Audi A5 on the A30, on November 29 last year.

He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and £57 victim surcharge. His licence was endorsed with six points.
