A fire involving rubbish that had spread to a Falmouth property occurred in the early hours of today.
Firefighters from Falmouth and Tolvaddon attended the incident in Oakfield Road.
Wearing breathing apparatus, they used two hosereel jets to extinguish the fire by 1.05am.
Arson is suspected and Devon & Cornwall Police have been informed.
In a separate incident in the town's North Parade, a fire crew from Falmouth attended a fire in a skip. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hosereel to extinguish the fire by 11pm on Monday evening.
