Emergency services searched overnight for a missing person off the coast of the Roseland.
The Falmouth all-weather lifeboat launched at around 3.05am to assist police in the search in Gerrans Bay.
The lifeboat was stood down at 6.30am.
Further information has been requested from the Devon and Cornwall Police press office, which re-opens tomorrow.
