Falmouth Golf Club has been given the green light to make changes to its final hole.
Cornwall Council approved a planning application from owner David Hughes to create an 18th hole in front of the new clubhouse.
It will include the shaping of tees, fairway, green and a pond.
The idea is that members will be able to see golfers finish their rounds, while players will be closer to the changing and storage facilities.
The land is currently used as a practice driving range.
