A summer bonfire went wrong in Mullion this morning when it got out of control and firefighters had to be called in.
A crew from the village fire station were sent half a mile down the road to Clifden Park, where the bonfire had spread to a hedgerow at 10.11am.
Firefighters used a main jet to put out the bonfire, before speaking with the property owner to give safety advice.
