A 59 year old man has admitted making indecent photographs of a child.
Stephen Anthony Griffiths, of Tremayne Road Truro, admitted the offence before Bodmin magistrates on Thursday.
The images were classed as Category C, relating to indecent images which do not involve sexual activity - those images are classed as Category A or B offences.
He committed the offence between January 1, 2017 and May 18, 2017.
Magistrates imposed a community order on Griffiths, which includes a Rehabilitation Actvity Requirement.
He was also fined £207 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 victim surcharge.
An order was made under Section 143 of the Power of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000, which enabled the court to seize his laptop and iphone.
He was also placed on the Sexual Offences Register for five years.
