A quiet corner of the Roseland Peninsula resembled something from a Carry On film this morning.
Matthew Wood posted the photograph on the We Love Cornwall facebook page, having first been "disgusted" by what he thought were dog poo bags.
Closer inspection of the signpost, on the South West Coastal path near the tiny village of Portholland, revealed a more saucy discovery.
The abandoned bra yielded some amusing comments on the facebook page:
"Be sure to keep us abreast of developments" to "A new meaning to popping out for a walk?".
Others included "Storm in a D Cup", "Doggin or no?" and the brilliantly crafted "Over the shoulder boulder holders".
Another comment simply said: "Free at last!".
