A drink driver did so while he was disqualified, a court heard.

Jamie Christopher Bramwell, aged 32, of Lamorna Close, Connor Downs, admitted committing the offences on June 2 at Redruth in a Hyundai Tuscon.

He had 96mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs.

Magistrates imposed a 12-week jail sentence suspended for 12 months, due Bramwell’s “previous record of similar recent offending”.

He was banned from the road for four years and ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

DRIVING without insurance, an MoT or a licence has resulted in a driving ban for a 22 year old man.

Keyan Lee Richards, of Penmorvah Road, Truro, committed the offences in a Ford on February 22 on the A390 in St Austell.
