A tractor, a vintage Rolls Royce and a Ferrari were among the array of transport chosen by year 11 students from Mullion School to arrive in for their prom.

The year group, known as Flight 38 - in reference to the school's symbol of the Arctic tern - gathered to mark the end of their GCSE exams and their time at the school with a glamorous event at the Penmorvah Manor Hotel in Budock Water.

They dressed for the occasion, with the girls wearing long evening dresses and the boys in smart suits.

The school said: "They all looked amazing in their carefully chosen outfits. The sun shone allowing for some lovely photographs to be taken.

"This was followed by a delicious meal, socialising and dancing.

"A good time was had by all."
