Blue skies and golden sunshine provided the perfect backdrop to a rainbow array of dresses at Helston Community College's Summer Ball.
It was a chance for the year 11 students to get glammed up and spend an evening relaxing, after a busy few weeks completing their GCSE exams.
It wasn't just the girls making an effort in glittering evening dresses, however, with the boys also brushing up in suits and with coiffured hair.
The prom was held at the Falmouth Hotel and thanks to an evening of warm sunshine there was plenty of opportunity for photos in the hotel's gardens before the students headed inside for a three-course dinner followed by dancing.
