FALMOUTH pub The Working Boat, alongside Harbour Brewing Co., is hosting a bank holiday full of brews.

The quayside pub, underneath The Greenbank Hotel, is holding its second annual Beer Festival every day this May bank holiday.

With barrels of guest ales, local ciders and craft beers on offer, it’s time to find your new favourite pints.

The Working Boat chefs will be busy preparing homemade pizzas in their outdoor oven, as well as creating hearty buddha bowls and potato bakes from midday until late. Enjoy free entry and plenty of brews from Verdant Brewing, Brew Dog, Harbour, Beavertown, Black Rock, Skinner’s, Jubel and much more.

On Friday, May 24, get ready to “swing your partner round and round” to the high energy jigs of Splann, as part of The Greenbank’s Fal River Festival.

On Saturday, May 25, don’t miss the legendary Go Go Skank, who will be performing in the events marquee from 9pm. The band take well-loved 70s, 80s and 90s tunes, then chew them up and spit them out in a unique rockabilly ska style.

Finally, on Sunday, May 26, bringing a mellow end to the celebrations will be rhythm and blues singer Patrick Gilbert, performing late into the afternoon.

Stay a little longer and enjoy the pub’s weekly charity quiz from 7.30pm onwards, supporting ShelterBox.

The Working Boat’s Mini Beer Festival is a free event and there is no need to book.

However, if you’d like to book a table, please call 01326 314283.
