Falmouth Art Gallery has its very first audio automata on display which was designed and created by local craftsman Keith Newstead in just six weeks.
The Cornish Cultural Triangle has been attracting a lot of attention since it became the town council-owned gallery's latest addition to its collection of automata.
The work was made thanks to money donated from the Heritage Lottery Fund as part of the gallery's Cornish Cultural Triangle Project, which runs until February of next year.
It features representations of three well known artists who represent the three points of the triangle - Laura Knight, of Newlyn; Barbara Hepworth, of St Ives and Grace Gardner, who had lived in Flushing until her death in July 2013. The automata features the voice of the gallery's assistant curator, Alex Hooper.
Falmouth Art Gallery is open 10am until 5pm, Monday to Saturday and entry is free.
