The pungent problem of waste disposal in Helston has once again been discussed by the town's councillors in the hope of finding a permanent resolution.
Councillor Terry Claire told fellow members of the town council that he was becoming "increasingly fed up" with seagulls ripping bags of rubbish apart and distributing the litter across the street.
He called for Kerrier district council to provide residents with wheelie bins to solve the matter once and for all.
