THE man accused of murdering Chard factory worker Alan Eva was not abnormal, a court has heard.
Today (Thursday) a prosecution psychiatrist in the trial of Ashley Thorpe at Exeter Crown Court said he did not think the defendant's dependence on alcohol led to an abnormality of mind.
29-year-old Thorpe has pleaded not guilty to murdering 49-year-old Alan Eva at Henson Park, Chard, in July last year.
The trial continues.
