FIREFIGHTERS had to rescue five people in Truro who were trapped in a lift at the Royal Cornwall Hospital.
One appliance from Truro fire station attended the scene and released the five people who had been stuck in the lift for around half an hour.
It is believed that the lift failed due to a mechanical fault. No one was hurt during the incident.
