Taunton Town skipper Antony Lynch played his last game for the club at Beaconsfield last Saturday when an 89th minute goal saw them crash to defeat.

Lynch, who rejoined the club from Tiverton Town three years ago, informed manager Gary Domone and chairman Tom Harris after the game that he was moving to Toolstation League side Dawlish Town, managed by former Taunton midfielder Chris Myers.

His departure will be a blow for the club but at least they now appear to have a player capable of filling his boots in Aaron Blakemore who gave another fine display including a superb goal.

Lynch is the latest in a line of high-profile players to leave the club.

Meanwhile, Taunton will feel desperately unlucky to leave Buckinghamshire empty handed after coming from two goals behing through Blakemore and Lynch, only to have a point snatched away by the late penalty.
