A MAN is critical after being involved in a serious road traffic collision on Friday morning in the Northgate area of Bridgwater.
Officers were called at around 2.30am to the collision between a Ford Escort car and an articulated lorry and are aksing motorists to avoid the road as they clear the scene.
Three men and one female from the Escort were taken to Musgrove Park Hospital. One man - the front seat passenger -has been described this morning (Monday) as critical but stable.
Officers closed the road for most of Friday morning and have appealed for witnesses to contact them on 08454-567000.
