POLICE in Exeter have begun an investigation following the stabbing of a man in the city.
The incident occurred at a house in Burnthouse Lane just after midnight Saturday, January 21, when officers received a report that a 20-year-old man had been stabbed in the back and head.
The victim - who is a local man - was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter hospital for treatment, where his injuries are described as not life threatening.
Two local men, aged 17 years and 18 years, were arrested in connection with the assault and taken to Exeter Police station. They have both been released on bail until Tuesday March 7.
