Vandals have daubed black writing on four areas of Truro city centre.

Graffiti containing the words "bin boy" appeared in either black paint or ink marker pen, with a large amount found in the lift area and on the main doors of the Lemon Quay car park, at the back of Marks and Spencer.

A spokesperson for Truro police station said: "Two white males in their mid to late teens were seen acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the offence."

Similar damage was found in the Roberts Ope alleyway and areas of Lemon Quay and Victoria Square, between 6pm on January 19 and 7.30am on January 20.
