Steve Ritchie has withdrawn his threat to quit as manager of Chard Town and will be leading his side out for their important first qualifying round of the FA cup game at Merthyr Tydfil on Saturday.
"It was a little misunderstanding which has been sorted out now," he said.
"People at the club are terrific and I will be here until the end of the season."
Whether that means he will be leaving then remains to be seen. No doubt the club will have to find ways of providing Ritchie with more cash to attract better players to strengthen his impressive young squad.
