CADBURY Heath came to Chard in a confident mood in a top of the table position with two wins and two draws from four league outings.
The game was entertaining with Chard being equal to their visitors - with both sides going close to grabbing a late winning goal.
Chard had the best of play in the early part of the first half with several good moves and on 15 minutes could have gone ahead when a shot, deflected off a Cadbury Heath defender, was well saved by keeper Chris Fox.
A minute later an Adam Downes shot was again dealt with by the visitors keeper Tim Day on 27 minutes.
