Membership of the Green and White Supporters' Club has been boosted by 74 people - from Ireland.
Some of the residents of Rush, which is about ten miles north of Dublin, have joined up for this season and are hoping to get a few visits to watch Yeovil over the coming months.
G&WSC spokesman Rob Cox said: "They are planning a major trip in the New Year so a social event of some kind or other will be on the cards to give them a warm welcome.
"The man behind this is former Wincanton resident Dave Edge who has been living in Rush for a couple of years and has introduced his new friends to the football experience of Yeovil Town."
The G&WSC is now planning a possible end-of-season trip to Rush to sample some of the delights of Southern Ireland.
