VISIBLE policing in Ilminster is receiving a boost this week as two new Police Community Support Officers go on the beat.
Working with the town's beat manager PC Kevin Sugg, the two PSCOs will act as a link between police an the community, just as officers have been in Chard for the past 6 months.
Their deployment to Ilminster, where they will be based at the Butts Police Station, leaves four PCSOs in Chard.
