Pole dancing and lap dancing may soon be a feature of the Bridgwater nighlife, if a bid to open the town's first adult nightspot is a success.
An application has gone to Sedgemoor District Council to sanction adult entertainment at the newly-opened Silhouettes - formerly the Rock Garden - in St Mary Street.
If approved, the new venture would see naked women dancing for crowds of men, with an opportunity for visitors to the members-only club to pay for private dances in secluded booths.
