AN 82-YEAR-old woman from Cullompton was the victim of a distraction burglary which took place on Monday.
A boy and a girl approached the front door of the property in the town, whilst the girl talked her way into the kitchen the boy searched the house.
The girl is described as being 16-years-old with fair hair and was wearing a white coat, the boy is thought to be 18, and was wearing blue jeans.
A small amount of cash was stolen in the burglary, which took place at around 2pm on March 1.
Police are urging people not to let strangers into your homes, and are appealing for witnesses to the incident or would like to hear from anyone else in the Cullompton area who may have been approached by the pair.
